Information for passengers
The terminal is equipped with a modern visual flight notification system (Flight Information Display system). On the monitors installed in the terminal FIDS passengers have the opportunity to timely monitor the current information about daily arrivals and departures.
In the hall of the international departures there are 6 registration desks in the departure hall of the domestic – 9, and 2 desks in the CIP hall.
Check-in and boarding for domestic and international flights begins 1.5 hours and ends 40 minutes before departure.
The baggage allowance set by the airlines is 20 kg for Luggage plus 5 kg hand Luggage. Fees for extra weigh baggage established by airlines. (Domestic flights is 200 – 400 Tg/kg, international 400 – 800 tenge./kg)
All persons crossing the border fill out a migration card, which indicates the name, nationality, number of children (up to 16 years), the purpose of stay, the receiving party and the mark of registration at the place of stay. The mark on registration in the migration card is put by the migration police. Persons whose stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan does not exceed 5 days, registration with the migration police is not required.
According to the legislation, one-time import/export of cash equivalent not exceeding 10 000 us dollars is not subject to written customs Declaration. When importing / exporting an amount exceeding the equivalent of 10 000 us dollars, these funds must be declared in writing.
Due to the establishment of the Customs Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, there is no customs border. Border controls are in place.
1. A citizen of the Russian Federation has the right to be on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and travel abroad (including in Russia) under the current document proving his identity:
- according to the birth certificate - up to the age of 14 years;
- internal passport (valid for crossing the border until the owner reaches the age of 20 and 45 years);
- according to the foreign passport - until the expiry of its validity, regardless of the age of the owner.
- Rules of entry and stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as their departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan
- (In accordance with the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the order of stay of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the territory of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana, June 7, 2012):
- "Citizens of one Party temporarily staying in the territory of the other Party shall be released from the obligation of registration (registration at the place of stay) in the competent authorities of the party of stay within 30 days." If you plan to stay longer, you should contact the territorial unit of the Migration police of Kazakhstan at the location in the country before the expiration of 30 days. In this case, you will be able to extend the period of stay in Kazakhstan up to 90 days, after which you should leave Kazakhstan.
